Checked a place out over off 19th ave and Bell rd. They confirmed what I was thinking about the tonneau cover. Being an ARE hard cover and it's age. Be like a needle in a hay stack to find someone that would need it. They were telling me that they have cut up and tossed several due to not able to get rid of them. They just sit and collect dust. Everyone wants the trifold lighter weight ones or the flush mount ones. Or a shell.

If I was a glassman I would cut it to size and glass it back together, but guess what.

I'm not a glass guy either. Looks like I'm going to get me and the hood itchy.

Well the tonneau cover is hacked up and out of the way. Hated to do it to a good one, but it had to go. That opened up the shelving that was behind it so I can go through that crap to make room to put stuff I need to get out of the way. Now If I could find a home for these wheels and tires.

[postcolor=#FFFFFF]The originals off the Colorado. 17x8, 6 on 120 with 255/65 17 tires that had about 6k on them when I pulled them off. I think they are stamped 0421. They may be getting a little iffy.

If you still have the original 6 lug, They won't fit. Yurs will be larger diameter that what these are. I don't know what has that small of bolt pattern outside ethe colorado or the canyon.

My truck is a square body and two wheel drive so it's 5 lug and 15", don't think they will work.

Got the garage just about ready for a car. Have a few things to go through and probly have stuff that needs to go that will make room and stop taking up needed room. Like a boat

Talked to CE and he still needs to unbury the car in his garage. He's been dealing with a critter that looks to have made a home under his shed and pushed the dirt up into the shed. Something bigger than a gofer for sure. Might be a squirrel he's been seeing running around and possibly his family.

MAN!! I'm ready for the weekend. Been a crappy week. This weekend I have to do brakes on the rear of the Malibu and change the oil that's due. Got the rotors and pads from Rock Auto since I haven't had time to go somewhere local. They were actually cheaper in the long run. I still need to do the brakes on the HD. Still have a few things to poke at in the garage while I wait for CE to unbury the car. Thats going to be a weekend just shuffling cars and motors around.

Got the rear brakes done on the Malibu. Turned into an all day extravaganza. Had to replace the calipers. What kicked my a$$ was getting the E Brake cable off the old ones and back onto the new ones. Didn't get to the HD. Hopefully I can get to it in the next couple weeks.

Yeah, E-Brake can be a pain even with all the tension taken out.

Don't know what's going to get done this weekend. They are talking wind for Saturday and GF's brother and sister inlaw are coming down from Payson I'm guessing one of the days. I was going to do oil changes in at least the Malibu and the Colorado. But I don't want oil everywhere.

With the winds we have had this week. It's been real hazy out. Allergies are going nuts as well.

I always hated that marine layer. It made the day so gloomy and depressing.
We finally got our new hire and now to get him trained and up to speed. I got a call from the city this afternoon on the job I put my hat in for. Now just waiting for a formal interview to be scheduled. Not holding my breath or getting my hopes up, but it would be nice for a change for awhile
