That's a lot of work Better take a picture of the place, you may not recognize it next time you come home.

I wish. Guys were here and patched the roof this morning. Hopefully I have an open weekend coming up to do something with the floater. Needs to be fired off in a bad way. At this point there are still no plans. Should do the brakes on the HD. I have only had everything since Thanksgiving.

Put some PRI-G in the tank, It'll bring the gas back to life, won't take the stink out of it though.

Did get it fired off Saturday morning. Ran about10 seconds and started surging. Fought it for about 20 seconds before it died. Grabbed a gas jug and headed to get gas. Dumped 4 gal in it. That's all the fuel saver I had. Fired it off again. This time no surging. let it run for a bit to come up to temp checking making sure nothing stupid was happening and to give it time for the fresh fuel to circulate into the system. All good. Shut it down and covered it back up.

Well!! Week ended on a sh!t note. Glen and I lost our older brother yesterday. Was pretty unexpected and quick. SOunds like he had issues with his liver that he got 4 years ago and also sounds like kidneys gave up. There is a car show at Martines Auto Museum tomorrow morning that I got word they are going to honor him some how. GF and I are going to go and check things out and see who we can. He was well known around the drag racing people here locally and I'm hearing there is going to be some of them there.

Went in Tuesday and got the biopsy done. Telling me I will get the results Aug 7th at my next appointment. Seems like BS. I know they will have the results with in 72 hours. Have to say it was quick but not comfortable. .
Not much planed for the weekend. Going to get a hair cut before I break out the scissors and do it myself.

Been a busy week again. Taking it easy this weekend. Had a guy come by Saturday morning to look at the side yard to get me a quote. He will get back to me this next week. I really need to get this done.
Waiting for Aug 7th to get my results. Once I get that, it will tell me if I’m taking vacation time or time off for something else. Hoping for vacation time.

So much for being optimistic. I have stage 5 prostate cancer. I go the 19th for a PET scan. That will determine if we do surgery or do chemo.

Thanks Man!!! We have our head up and hope that it's just in the prostate and not spread. If it's spread, then we have a long tough road with chemo or what ever. If just in the prostate, then it will be removed.
As for now I'm being told I can continue with how ever I need. SOOOO!! This weekend the HD will get a little love. Will be replacing the ABS module thats been an issue for about 5 years. Brakes bled and finally do the brakes on the thing that haven't been touched in 168K miles. I have only had the rotors and pads since last Thanksgiving.
I also picked up a U-joint just incase. I have a gut feeling I will be replacing the front joint once I get a good eyeball on it and see why it's slinging it's grease. I thought it was the rear tranny seal, but it's dry around it. I may not get to changing it this weekend, but there is always next weekend.

YES!!!! It has been. I got started on the HD Saturday morning on the driver side rear once I got the truck up on jack stands and all four wheels and tires off. Got the left rear apart and back together and the front apart before I had to quit due to it getting toasty and had a scheduled lunch with the folks and CE for moms birthday. Hit it early this morning and got all the brakes done before it got to hot out. I had one he!! of a time getting the calipers off. once I got the bolts out, I could see GM used some kind of yellow thread lock. After I got everything a part, I cleaned everything up before it all going back together. I did a quick bleed since I didn't have enough fluid for a flush. Will need to be another time. Also replaced the ABS module. Now I just need to go break everything in.

Yea I did. Sunday morning I went and broke the brakes in. MAN!!! Do they feel much better. Saturday I spent the morning mowing the yard and cleaning it up. Then went to the folks to fix their house phone. Then went to Sam's club. After that I called it a day. After running the truck around I pulled out the lazy card. Heading down probly Sunday evening to Tucson for the weekends races. It's the yearly boarder battle. That race is Saturday Night. Last time I went the last pair went down the track at 7:30 Sunday morning. Sunday are team races that are usually pretty fun.
I tried to move my doc appointment up, But they can't. So they say. So I will get the results of the PET scan on Sept 9th. I hope we can get the ball rolling on what ever happens soon after. Having a calibration of life for my older brother Oct 11th and the 17th the kids are finally going to tie the knot. I'm not missing either event.
