Going to try to get them this afternoon. Spent Saturday dealing with a bloody nose. MAN!! I hate them things. Been so dry out. Allergies aren't helping either. Been a busy week at the slave labor hut. Going to be a busy next 3 weeks while the PoPo move into their new building. Their moving everything, but we need to be monitoring for people that can't seem to pay attention and can't plug a phone in correctly.  :rolleyes

Heading to Tucson in the morning for celebration of life for a racer that passed last September. Weather is looking pretty good since we will be at the track. Friend with the Vega got the motor back and ready to go back in the car. Thats going to wait until it gets back from paint. I can't wait to see what they're going to do to it.

Found out the other day, our brother will be inducted into the Arizona Drag Racing Hall Of Fame at the yearly gathering that will be down at Bradford Racing on April 4th

Had a good relaxing time. Was nice to wander around a see a few people we know. Wasn't many since it was a Tucson Team race. Watched some racing. It was typical Tucson with it being windy and a little chilly. When the wind would settle down for a few minutes, it was nice.

Most definitely!!!  Wish we could get to them more often. Maybe this summer once the car is back together. Will probly go and help get things dialed back in again and hope to help get it all back together after paint.

Didn't get much done over the weekend due to Valentines day, Then I got lazy on Sunday and watched the Daytona Demo Derby. Monday I did get the oleanders chopped down in the front yard that were WAY out of control. Then a phone call from the gal setting up my Medicare crap, then off to get may taxes done. This weekend I need to toss the mower around the front yard.

Well!!! Don't know what happen, But the car won't go in for paint for a couple months. It's tor apart and ready to go. He doesn't want to put it together to have to take it back apart again. SO I guess we have to wait.

Been a busy week end for me. Saturday rotated the tires on the colorado. Once done found a weight on the driveway  :banghead  Found where it was and was able to get it back on. Went and picked up 2 idler pulleys and belt tensioner for the Malibu. Got it all apert Sunday morning to find there were 3 idlers.  :banghead   got the others on and went and got another idler. Put everything back together and all is happy. Except the oil leak. Got it up in the air after going to DMV this morning and found the oil filter adaptor was leaking. What a biotch to get off. I ended up having to remove 2 of the 3 bolts holding the AC compressor and the last one holding on with about 2 threads to get to one of the adaptor bolts. Got it apart and back together with a new gasket. did an oil change while there since it was due. So far no more leak. But my a$$ has been kicked.  Have I ever mentioned I HATE front wheel drive vehicles and engineers need to work on what they designed.

The car is in great shape. It's an 05' with 120k on it. Worse thing on it is the paint is starting to thin out in a few places. Just like most front wheel cars, Need to rip the drive train out of it, put a tunnel in it and rear wheel drive it.  :laugh  :rotflmao

Got a few more things done last weekend. Saturday changed the oil in the Colorado. Then crawled under the a$$ end to chase a rattle, The tail pipe was right up against the heat shield for the spare tire. I was able to push on the shield and get a little space between the 2. I took the Silverado to go get everything I needed and dump one of my tubs. On the way home the front end was popping when turning going slow and not hitting any bumps. So I spent part of Sunday replacing the driver side hub. I wanted to get both done, but I kept getting detoured by the neighbors seeing what I was doing and to jaw jack.  :laugh  Passenger side was in the sun and it was getting a little toasty as well. Hopefully I can get the other side done this weekend and get it's oil changed. After we go and go through a bunch of crap in a store room that's the kids.  What doesn't get tossed, donated or claimed will go to the eldest daughter up in South Dakota when we go in June. Yes, we are taking a vacation. We are going to bonzai up there(about 3 days), spend a day and wonder our way back home aimlessly.

Been trying to get caught up on things around here. Also trying to stay busy to hopefully build my stamina up a little. Yard needs to see a mower again.  :rolleyes  Hopefully get the other hub changed. garage is ready for the '56 that I hope to get over here next weekend. We will see.
