Ya got a point there. I did get the front a back mowed and edged. Saturday. Sunday I spent replacing the water pump and the hose between the reservoir and the radiator in the malibu. Hopefully it's good for awhile.

Finaly got the other hub replaced on the HD. While I was at it, it got an oil change and checked the tire air. Dumb thing I did find is the last time I change the oil. I guess I didn't tighten the drain plug. It was just finger tight. Surprisingly it wasn't leaking. I also cleaned up from a spider making one he!! of a home under the front driver side. Here soon I'll need to replace the master cylinder. reservoir is leaking around the base. Oh and front brake hoses will need to be replaced as well. Found a funky rub mark on the right front. have no idea what could have been rubbing on it. I'll probly do the rears as well, flush the system and just be done with it all.

This thing holds 6 quarts. That could have been real ugly
Well!!!?? We were sat down and told that the city has developed positions and they will be opening hiring for these positions in October. We are encouraged and asked to go through the hiring process. They want us all to apply and they want us to stay together. They have informed WWT to let GMI(who I work for) know they are hiring the team. So it looks like we will be city employee's by the end of the year. I'm looking forward to this, BUT there's a couple things I need clarification on. Bottom line, I may be a city employee, find another job or I will retire. We will see.

Yeah, a total mess!
Well if it were me, unless I was ready to retire "now" I'd go for the city any day, better pay and benefits, and I'm sure better work conditions too.

LOLO I don't know about better conditions. We are already there. I do know communication will be a LOT better that what we have now.
Been working out in the garage running conduit for electrical. Trying to get that taken care of while I have the room. I have about 60% done in the garage itself. I still need to run to the main panel and then I can start running wire. Tired of only having 2 iffy outlets that are usable.

Iffy electrical is not a good thing, besides it's always good to have outlets all over the place, beats tripping on extension cords all over the place.

Thats pretty much it. I'm tired of cords everywhere for something dumb. Plus I'll be adding light so I can see what I'm doing. I'll be running 12g wire to all the outlets. Who knows what the only 2 outlets I have been using are. Probly 14g.

Haven't got much done the last few days. Keep getting detoured on other things. On call this week so I may not be home much for work either. Once I get the garage plumbed then I can work on how I'm going to rout things to the breaker box.

And after all that, you'll need to find a spot for the air compressor and plumb the place for that.

Already have one and in it's spot. Have outlets going to it already in place. Just need to get wire to it and the rest of the outlets. Haven't had time this last week to do a whole lot with getting conduit in place. But we are getting there. Once the garage is setup, then I need to figure out how I'm going to get to the breaker box. I have the board ready to mount on the wall and the sub box ready to hang on the board. Then a run from there to my outlets can be done. Will see if I can get most in the garage thats left done this weekend.

Got the board mounted on the wall and the sub panel mounted to it. Now I need to run conduit to the 12" x 12" J box I mounted on the ceiling that branches off to both sides of the garage. Then the last leg to the main breaker box. Haven decided how I'm going to rout that yet. Have a couple options. Then grab my ankles for the wiring for it all.

All the conduit is run in the garage. Just need to decide how I'm going to rout to the main breaker box. Probly not going to get much done until mid June due to we have a few things we need to get ready for us to leave on vacation June 6th. We will be gone thru Jun16th.
Went to Tucson Saturday for the fuel alterds. Had a good time. I was watching on line Friday and saw the Sheep Herder crash. Driver didn't break anything, BUT sliding along the top of the wall for 1/8 mile wore through his fire suit and tore up his legs just above his knees. He'll have a long road to recovery and several surgery's is what I'm hearing
Sunday I was hoping to relax, BUT we had a gender reveal for the grand kid thats due Oct 6th. She is having a boy. I think these gathering are a joke. Just tell us what your having.
Oh and still waiting on a car to show up.

Looks like you're progressing good.
Sucks about the crash, could have been a lot worse hope he recovers quick.

WHEW!!!! What a frig'n week. Been busy as he!!. Been on call and been dispatching like a mad man. Spent this morning cleaning up the colorado for our trip that we leave for next Saturday. I couldn't leave the valley with that dirt ball. Last weekend I fixed the heat shield between the tail pipe and the spare tire. last time I looked at it about a month ago, they were touching. Only thing holding it in was the spare. It's now bolted in and not going anywhere with about 3 inches of clearence. Gone through all the daughter stuff and have crunched it down that we should be able to get it under the tonneau cover. Speaking of, I just ordered another one. Washing the truck this morning I discovered this one is coming apart. Not sure if it would make the trip or keep weather out if needed. We will be back sometime on the 16th so I can go back to work the 17th then off the 19th for Juneteenth and have a 3 day weekend.

Well I think we are ready to go. The back of the Colorado is FULL under the new tonneau. We are packed. Just need to toss our stuff in the back seat, fill up gas and hit the road. We will be back sometime on the 16th. Weather isn't looking to bad either. We will see.

WHEW!!!! We are back!!! had a great time. Put just over 3400 miles on the truck that gave us no issues. I haven't done the math yet, but it did seem to do pretty good on gas. On the way out we went through Winslow and stood on the corner. We had quite a bit of rain Wednesday morning through Nebraska. The truck is WIPED out. We rolled back to Flagstaff via the painted desert and petrified desert by Friday afternoon and stayed there Friday and Saturday nights. Bounced down to Prescott Sunday via Oak Creek, Sedona, Cottonwood and then Jarome where we spent time wondering the streets there. Got back in the truck just in time for one he!! of a rain storm. Rolled into Prescott where we stayed Sunday night and monday. Spent Monday on Whisky Row and watch another big time rain and hail as we sat and had ice cream. We rolled on home Tuesday morning. now to get back into the swing of work
