Yeah, it's gonna be toasty this weekend, 110-112* over the weekend here, need to put a canopy over it if you have to work out in the sun or you won't be able to touch anything. Oh, and make sure the tools are kept in the shade. :eek  :laugh

Been to flip' n busy. Put a.50 hour week in then get up Saturday morning to work on cars.  :banghead  Got up Saturday morning to change oil and check the Malibu out so GF mom could head to Payson. That took longer than planned since I had to go get everything. Pull the drain plug to not have the seal on it an couldn't find it. Back to O'Reilly. Since I had to go back.  I took the full bucket and had it dumped. I keep 2 around. Sunday did the Colorado after checking a couple things on this POS Monte Carlo. Still not finding the issue. Also haven't had a lot of time to dick with it either.

WAY past time for a real vacation.

Been a busy week. We can't seem to get caught up from last week. Next week I have 2 short days. Having tests done Monday and Tuesday mornings. Off Wednesday for June Teenth and I took Thursday and Friday off for a long weekend. If you see a red Monte Carlo orbiting, it might be the one in the driveway.  :laugh I haven't had a whole lot of time to dick with it. I did crawl under it to see if it had bounced off anything. Looks pretty good. No bounce marks. I'm still thinking body control module.

:laugh  :rotflmao  :good  That has crossed my mind  :D

I would LOVE to be able to strip everything out of it, drop a non computerized motor in it with an aftermarket throttle body to make it reliable, drivable and be able to work on it. but NOOOOO that would potty everyone and the pope off because it's not emission friendly.  :pissed   :pissed   Better fun would be to strip it down and make it rear wheel drive and have some real fun. That would be expensive, but would be fun  :D  :laugh

Well, Its Monday.  :banghead  :pissed  :finger   Went and did my Doc appointment at 7 this morning to get back home to work and can't log into anything, Not even the city issued laptop. Got word about 1:30 this afternoon that I should be good to go. NOPE!!  Call the helpdesk to find out not only is all my access's disabled, but have been suspended. Just got pinged by our manager on the city side that I may not be able to get in until tomorrow.  :rolleyes  Someone really screwed the pooch on my crap. I don't know if the rest of my team is able to work or not.

One more day and I'm off for 5 days and not have to deal with stupid work crap.  :good

Haven't got crap done.  :laugh   haven't felt real good for some reason. I think a lot of it is sinus issues with all the dust in the air. I did help the eldest get her crap out of the house she was at to get away from the POS she was living with. New squeeze is taking her to South Dakota today. Come November she is going to be crying when the snow gets up to her a$$. As for the Monte, I haven't even looked at it. Now I think the battery has now gone south. Took way to short of time to charge at 2amp when at 10%. Went to 100% in less than an hour. Mybe later I'll put the battery I have in it and see what happens.

Weather, family and work has kept me from doing a whole lot with it. Maybe this weekend after I mow the yard and make a trip to the dump to unload the trailer and anything ells I can find to take.

LOL Not getting much done outside. Watered the yard. As that Was happening I built another sprinkler, went to Home Depot and got a.few door nobs for inside. Got 2 replaced. Had to make a little adjustment with a hammer and a chisel to the holes in the door to get the striker to fit. will water the yard.again in the morning. Yard hasn't seen much in the way of moisture like it needs. Needless to say not much to mow. Will bet a few things gathered up over the next few days and head to the dum next friday.

Cool!!!   Poked at the Monte this morning. Battery went south so I put the new one in. No change on anything. I did pull the fuse block under the hood and checked a couple things I was told and all looks good. I'm still thinking Body Control Module, but not really sure since I don't know a whole lot about it. BUT!!! It's the only common denominator that I can figure between all this crap.  :stupid

Haven't got much done this weekend due to the heat. I went through the trailer Thursday morning after looking at the monte and got that straightened up and ready to go to the dump. I hope to get that trip done in the morning. Been watering the crap out of the yard while doing all this. Still need to mow it but it's so dry. I hope to mow it Sunday morning.

I'm finding it to be a pain in the a$$. Here is a description that I found that tells about it. To replace it, it needs to be programmed for the vehicle and from what I can tell there is a procedure to go through to activate it once in the car. Programming it requires the programmer to have the VIN and who knows what ells.

BCM or Body Control Module
