Thanks everyone!!! Glad you liked the photos. I always love reading what people think about my photos. And no, could get to the pot of gold. When I drove the dune buggy towards it, it just kept moving away :stupid

So no pot of gold for me. It was really weird....

that photo was taken about 10pm at night looking west down river towards headgate rock dam. 2.0 F-stop with a 16 sec shutter setting. Turned out pretty good for being in the dark. The stars are even visible.

yeah I definity stay off the river if a lightning storm is nearby. I have seen some boats out on the river with lightning all around and thought to myself, now that is crazy!!! :stupid

Yep. Lightning and boating don't mix. I remember when I lived back in NJ years ago (Ssshhh, don't tell anyone

) there was a guy Jet Skiing out on the lake during a lightning storm. Yep, he got hit....killed him on the spot. Of course, nobody ever said that those NJ people had alot of common sense :laugh
