I don't think the date is set yet.  The founder of the event doesn't post that much.  I think Party Cat is the next best word on it.  Last year, he started a poll here and on RRL to determine the best date for everyone.  It's generally a Friday through Sunday and everyone makes it when they can. :good

I'm here....sorta.  For now anyways.

Went out to CFW briefly today for the New Years Day deal.  Only stayed about an hour though then we left and came home to watch football.  Just getting the priorities straight :laugh

I was at CFW long enough today to hear that my old 468 BBC motor was sitting at the bottom of the lake (Fleetimus's boat sank today) and it made me sick to my stomach.  I feel for that guy...He's had so much bad luck this past year.

Yeah, I feel pretty bad about the deal.  Fleetimus is a heckuva guy that would give ya the shirt off his back if you needed it.  I felt so bad yesterday when I went up to him and asked him how my old motor (The 468 BBC) was running in the new boat, and then he told me it was sitting at the bottom of the lake.  I could see the pain in his eyes, and I just couldn't believe that this poor guy has run into bad luck again.  I felt like such an A$$ at that time.
There has been a donation fund set up for him on the Banderlog and LBBA forums and you can bet that I was the first in line to send some $$ his way.
There is a dive team heading up from Bullhead on Wednesday, headed by Squirtin Thunder (Jim - Code Blue Racing) and I have faith that they will be able to recover the boat.  Squirtin Thunder has really stepped up to the plate on this.....an unbelieveable act of kindness on his part, and all the others.

I saw the vid on HB that sucks, I think anytime someody goes out to run there should be someone out there with a boat ready to move in case of an incident just like at the races!.. :(
