I failed to post the Monday "On this day in" topic

So in keeping with the tradition

Yesterday..... 2-28-1983 the last episode of M*A*S*H aired and I actually remember watching it :drink

And today is the Peace Corps 44th anniversary(1961)

God is Great, Beer is Good, and People are Crazy......

I was dyin' to know what fantasmagorical event took place on this day.......besides the one 47 (jeesh) years ago!
