Well, gas prices are going through the roof once again and since we're getting ready to take a long trip in 10 days, figured I'd pass along some gas price info. When checking through Gasbuddy.com it looks like the city that we live in, Woodland, CA has the lowest prices in California @ $2.05 gallon and the Chevron in Needles on Needles Highway has the highest @ $2.79 gallon All them folks fixing to head towards the water down south better fuel it up now.... Anyway, since we are driving to Idaho on March 26, it is nice to see that the gas prices there are about $.20 per gallon less than they are here. Washington and Oregon are about $.10 less. Why is it that California always has the highest prices when we have so many refinerys? It's because our State government decided that they need to tax our taxes on fuel. What are the taxes for that we pay for registering our vehicles? (Again, the highest in the nation) We pay registration taxes for the Government to fix the roads, but then we also pay gas taxes to fix the roads???? They are taxing our taxes on taxes here! Man I can't wait to move to Idaho!

Diesel fuel in San Diego is going from $2.35 to $2.65 a gallon. It really pisses me off that regular gas is cheaper than diesel now.

when you floor it you watch the gauge go down... Â Lucky I have two tanks |
Another another $1.50 or so when you fill up on the water....

| Quote (BigBoyToys @ Mar. 17 2005,5:11 am) | On top of all of that, the price for a barrel of oil hit an all-time high yesterday. Â Don't expect to see gas prices going down anytime soon. Â I wouldn't be surprised a bit to see the prices hit $3.00 per gallon soon. Gas prices here where I live are going up $.05-$.10 per gallon per day. Â Tuesday I paid $2.05 per gallon, yesterday (wednesday) I paid $2.13 per gallon at the same gas station! Time to break out the 200 gallon tank and fill it up. Â Might even have to go fill up all of my 5 gallon gas cans. I'm glad I'm not an independent truck driver.....The cost of Diesel fuel is just straight up UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Â I'm sure that will have a trickle down effect on the prices at the stores. Â Remember, if you bought it, a truck brought it. |
I heard around $2.70 by summer, if this keeps up may as well use race gas, at least it will smell good!.

Yep. $3.00 per gallon by summer is what I heard. And you know the gas companies are going to close some refineries for "scheduled Maintenance" at the height of it all.... Greedy SOB's!
