Yeah MC, I've been watching that every day myself.....I'm feelin' pretty good about the water level being OK for Needles next month. :good

Now I'm hoping that I don't have launching issues! :stupid

Last word I got was from our roving reporter, garth shueman...Jack Smith and Moabi are under construction and from what I saw of Needles Marina it would take a tsunami to fill it up. Any news by you? :confused

I talked to needles marina today and they said that they are getting close to being able to launch but they arent quite there yet.  I launched there last year at 9000cfs but I can only be hopefull!!!!

I would be interested to hear what sheuman has to say though!  Im headed up on wednesday armed with a camera so I will bring back pictures of it all...  And a story of weither I hit or not... Knock on wood!

No pictures yet... I leave Wednesday and I will take them then (Hopefully not in the rain)...  I talked to the Marina and they said that the water is pretty high and you dont have to walk the boat out!  But probably watchout for later in the day if they cut the flow...  

Either way... Its a start and I dont have to drive all the way to havi to launch..  Hopefully I dont hit anything in my journey knock on wood :stupid

:good I just got back last night and the water is perfect!  We drove from AVI (Laughlin to Speed Alley) with no problems, just one shallow spot but nothing to worry about!  I will post the pictures my buddy took when I get home.  Now all we need is a little more warmth in the water.  Dam its cold!

I launched at the avi.. I attached a pic, you can see the bottom but it is still like 6 feet of water and it is pretty deep as you get to the center...  Jack was still torn up but they were working on it at 7:30 or so on thursday when we drove by...  Needles Marina looked high enough to launch and I saw a few boats coming out of there but they looked like they were being really carefull if that helps.  But the water overall was pretty deep! (It seems like there is more than the flow charts say)  Hope it helps

Anyone else go out this weekend?  Sand Bar was pretty dead, but then again it was very windy :angry thats why we just found a cove and kicked it...
