This is my first post but I thought I would jump in on this subject..... I have a 1972 17' Hondo that I will not part with Untill I die. Then I will Give it to my son.

Welcome to the board Knuckle head! :D (see the welcome thread) Do you ever take that boat out locally, like to Elsinore or Perris?  I've got a 18.5' 1978 Challenger jet that sees those lakes as well as the river. :)

P.S.  Is that a velocity stack on your boat?  If so, you're going to score points with the guy that thinks up the special titles around here. :D

Thanks Doug .....I do take the boat out to Elsinore once in a while never been to Perris though. Anyway keep me informed on the haps.

As long as there are places to enjoy a small boat (like the 25 miles of water from Parker bridge to the diversion damn,Blythe,etc.) there will be plenty of small boats around.  Sure, not many are made any more but they are great in their own right.  I'm selling a 19ft. Eliminator right now and will someday be back in a 18ft. CP for sure.
