Hey river rats I have a question....I had a 21 foot jet, and had a great time running the river. Parker, Avi, Needles, there wasn't anything the boat wouldn't handle.
Well 2 years ago we had 2 rough trips out at Havasu, and my wife said "bigger, faster" so I moved up to a 25 Shockwave Tremor. Well both times I've taken the 25 to Parker I have sacrificed a prop!
So the question, any of you river rats that have moved up to a bigger boat ever seriously consider moving back down to a smaller ride again? I miss running the river, and the i/o has never wound my crank like my jet. So, have any of you made the move back to a smaller boat?

Oddly, that is exactly how I ended up with a bigger I/O boat as well. So far I have no regrets on the change other than some of the "fun factor" I had with the jet. Overall I don't think I'd change back but if finances were good I'd have both. Get some polarized glasses, they help you see through the water better for prop killers.

Bre and Andy were talking about going back to a smaller boat, but I guess they changed their minds.

Since we're dreamin' I want my next boat to have a cabin boy.
And a driver, so Jeff can drink with me.
