RD at the risk of sounding like a kiss ass I think that you are the most level headed one of the group. I actually think that you will do the best job.

As far as swelling goes one persons head swelled right off the bat. I have not met him personally and had a great deal of respect for him up until this episode, so I am going to reserve judgment until I meet him. But I do not think he is the best person to be a moderator.

Hey guys, what's up.  

I can only imagine that the big head or gung ho stuff is aimed at myself or froggy or both.  Just here to clarify my view.  Craig contacted me and stated there was a problem with porn on the site, that the site was under scrutiny, and it needed to clean up.  I really didn't want or need another job, god knows JRocket is pretty accurate in the "no life" comment  :D   But...I enjoy the site and could see if something didnt' happen quickly the plug might be pulled.  For this reason and this reason only, froggy and I went in and edited alot of pictures out the first night.  As it turned out the site was again scrutinized the next day and the pics being gone turned out to be a good thing.  

Now I realize how it may have been perceived by some as being heavy handed or gung ho.  There are times however unfortunately that "gung ho" is required to get a job done effectively.  Saving the hotboat site from evaporation was my motivation for first, taking the job of moderator, and second removing the pics as quickly as possible.  As I said before I actually have plenty of jobs and didn't need another one.

That's as far as it goes though.  I actually have no interest in ever having to edit anyones pics or anything else again, ever.  If I see a problem (porn), I'll deal with it as Craig has instructed all the moderators to do, nothing more, nothing less.  If that warrants I take the pic down after making an attempt to get the poster to do it, again that's what I'll do.  As far as any of the moderators including myself having a swelled head over this stupid crap, I don't see it.  As far as I'm concerned with regard to the ongoing operation of hotboat I think the moderators are pretty much going to be a non-issue and rarely heard from.  

Hope this clears up any concerns or doubts anyone may have.

And as far as your worries Mike, it wasn't directed at you.  I was going to PM you to see if you had even taken the job.

As a whole, the moderators haven't affected my life one bit.  Some people just like to be prissy little bitch boys just because.  I think you guys are doing a great job enforcing something that was addressed but not really enforced a couple months ago.  You have my support if you need it.

Yeah, what Jordy said. :D  Dave and Mike, you guys are doing a great job!  Thanks for saving that site for us!  It's still my favorite! NO ONE has any legitimate complaint over there as far as I have read.  Some people just like to whine and whine again under an alternate screen name.

RD hasn't changed a bit through out the whole deal, but it just so happens that for some reason he seems to wear a bullseye on his back and turn into a whipping boy on the forums.  If you want to know something really scary, I'm on the list of alternate moderators if they need more.  RD puts up with a lot of shit, on the Hot Boat boards and elsewhere, and even threads that started out in fun, such as the magic boat one have migrated a bit away from that.  Gotta love the internet computer tough guys, especially the ones that hide behind made up screen names.  If you're going to try and lay a  smackdown on someone at least do it with some solid history behind you...   :D

Rex One my comment was not directed towards you at all.

I do not have a bone to pick with Froggy and I still respect him. I just do not agree with his approach. I think that the heavy handed militant approach is not the one to use in this circumstance.

I am behind all of you and will respect and abide by your decisions. I just do not agree with the way one person went about things.
