Has anyone heard if the new exhaust noise level of 88 decibels (at idle) will be enforced in Havasu this weekend?

I belive over the transom exhaust was to be outlawed as well

Is stock exhaust on a 454 louder then 88 decibles?
What is going to happen if it is louder? Fix it ticket or fine?

Who's stock ??? Dose it have mufflers ???.. Some of these Magic deck boats have stock exhaust but are very loud due to they exit under the swim step...

My boat is loud when I get on it, but if I am just crusin around it is not to bad do to my exhaust exits at the water line..

I dont think it has mufflers just tips and the pipes are the hoses not crome. The exhaust exits under the swim step which is like under the water line I think. I'll try and post pics.

from what i saw last weekend they are going to be very strict and picky and no they will not let you launch if your boat is to loud i saw a few turned away. although i saw some that were louder get right on. still cant figure that out sound like favorites to me.

Which ramp were you tested at? are they testing at windsor beach, site 6, nautical, and crazyhorse?

They test all the boats at the Havasu Marina & keep a record of it. So that once you pass, they won't ever test you again.

About a month ago i went to windsor to launch my boat & they were full, site 6 had a line to bfe, hence the reason why i launched at the marina. The marina wasn't crowded at that time because since they test all the boats, a lot of people won't launch out of there anymore. So now it's like, only the select few launch their.
As for your question on how busy it's actually going to be on a holiday weekend? I have no clue.
