My dad has been sending me these and I thought I'd share.

These were taken just North of Durango Colorado, looking south towords town.  My old house is off the highway on the right side of the picture, down by the river.

Keep in mind that these pics were taken on consecutive days at the end of last week.

I was just lookin' at the Powell stats....up over 20' since April 15th and the CFS inflows have gone from 11-12k in April to over 40k the last few dayz.... :eek

That almost looks like what the Virgin River is doing here in Mesquite. About 3 months ago it swelled up and flooded out over 30 homes 2 blocks over. The recent heatwave up in Utah is melting snow fast and the river is way up again! :eek

You should see it going through the gorge. It almost looks like the Colorado River rushing through there!
