If its been painted/decaled on the boat yes as far as just calling it a name not a problem. I think there is some sort of traditonal way to change a name on a boat Some sort of cerimonial deal

I came across a great deal on a 210 Hallett that belonged to Tom Barron from Barron Boats. The name was Skiscape 5 and I renamed it to Last Call, and the 1st time out I fell into the boat and detached my retina. I'll will be off work for 10 weeks. The next time at Havasu I'm doing the denaming ceremony with a big ass bottle of champange.
