KINGMAN, Ariz. --

Robin G. Land, 48, of Las Vegas was killed and four people were injured in a Sunday boating accident on the Nevada side of Lake Mohave.

Lake Mead National Recreation Area spokeswoman Roxanne Dey said authorities responded to the accident near Cottonwood Cove about 6:30 p.m. She said the boat was found capsized on the shoreline; Land and a 15-year-old boy were pinned by the vessel.

Another 15-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl were thrown from the boat and were found walking on shore, Dey said. She said a 26-year-old man was rescued from the water.

The survivors were transported to University Medical Center. Their names were not disclosed and their conditions were not available.

Without knowing some other conditions its hard to say whether it was weather related(wind) or driver negligence...either way its sad to hear of a death when its all supposedto be about a good time. Condolences to the family.
