First and foremost, I have to give a big freaking thumbs up and super-props to Carrera Elite and a couple peeps that arean't on the boards.  CE brought a spare tire out to help rescue the boat and myself west of Phoenix.  I'm am greatfully and eternally indebted.  :good  

In the meantime, my brother's truck decided it had enough fun for the day and stopped running (bum fuel pump).  Brother Sleek called in a favor and a peep from Tucson drove up and picked us and the boat up.  

What fun. :D  By the way, all manner of humanity will pass before your eye's if you sit in a rest stop for a long enough time.

Anyway, the boat and the pick-up are now home.  The boat trailer has 4 brand new trailer tires and the pick-up will be getting fuel pump replacemant surgery this week.

Seems there has been a run on trailer tires in the greater Tucson area... I finally found a set of 4 at a Discount Tire on the North side of town.  

Next week I'll get a spare mounted up and put on the trailer.  :D

Gotta agree.  We've had to use two spares on a weekend before.  Believe it or not, Jeff packs 3.  My dad lost 3 tires on one trip TO Bullhead.  Of course, they were Carlisles (sp?)  :rolleyes

hmmmmm.... I think I might.  A couple red Tucson Crew stickers in with the coozies might be a good idea... :D

As far as CE... look up T-H-E Man in the dictionary, and his picture will be staring back at you... :D  

Seriously though, I can't say enough about the people I've met on these boards.  Almost without exception, they have been some of the nicest and helpfull people I've had the good fortune to happen accross.   :good

Uh ... that was me! Last trip I go out to take the battery chgr off the boat and see 1 flat, next thing u know I am buying four trailer tires at discount (ina/shannon). They had to pull them from different locations. 2 hrs b4 going to the lake. It was definitely an unexpected expense. Sorry I tapped Podunk Tucson outta trailer tires Sleek. BTW boat looks great. Play hookie from work tmw and go to Pleasant w/ me and the fam! And maybe Hurricane Emily  :D  :D
