I just got back from Silverwood,.............sort of.

I was there for 10 minutes which was just long enough to drive to the campsite that my daughter was at to pick her up and bring her home.  There was a VERY long line of boats waiting to get in that I got to drive past. :eek  My daughter camped with my parents and before my Mom could sell me on the lake, I had to say I only have 10 minutes to get out (since I didn't get charged for day use). :D

How big is that lake?  Is it worth taking my boat out there?

Not to mention the algae! Was up there a few years back and the algae resembled broccoli it was so thick. Did they ever get it cleaned up?......and that's the beauty of havin' a small, slow boat. Every lake fits! :good

Yep, much cleaner now.  The draining helped get rid of the striper problem as well.  If you want to go on the week-end, you need to make a reservation and get in line EARLY.... :eek
