Just wanted to share some of our pics from out trip this week to Millerton lake, those of you who have never been there it is located just east of Fresno Ca.

Here is us driving to out fave finger of this lake, and yes the driver, me, needs a diet and soon



then we got to this logjam, we paddled thru, the excersize i needed and got back on our way



but well worth it.








as far as we could go



and let the floatin and diaparin begin




And if you look at the middle of the pic, thats the top of the spillway at the dam, this lakes full


And last whatta Sunset



Thanks all for putting up with my pics but i had a blast maybe we can get and HD crew to get up there sometime, great place lots of room.

Thanks for sharing the pics Mike. :)  My late uncle and aunt used to go to Millerton alot with their jet.  Here's one from Millerton looking towards the dam in the late 70's or very early 80's with my sister, my brother (Temecula Dave), my uncle, my cousin, and me in the back. :rotflmao

He looks that way because he's "Diapering", he has the lifevest on upside down and his legs thru the arm holes, , but that pic was waaaaay back in the one cove and the water was really only about 5 to 6 feet deep at the most there, but the rest of the lake is quite deep, when the dam was built a town was left there and all the folks were relocated, and you can go dive down to the town and look around actually pretty neat.

It's deep by the dam.  BTW, that pic was taken at an angle other than straight out. The boat is close to perpendicular with the shoreline.

Hey Doug we should get a trip going  together up there!!!

You wouldn't believe how full the lake is, back in the fingers what used to be the "walls" of rock are now trees and grass, just amazing!!!
