No more than 3... as hard as that seems to believe.

The experiments on board are the limiting factor.

Which is a huge difference as you only experience it for around 2 seconds on the roller coaster. :eek

Nope Saturn V was 5-7 G if my memory serves me... Probably doesnt but they did say that it was far more than the shuttle...  Saturn V was a real gut wrencher... THats why you see all of those old black and white films with the guy in the centerfuge trying to operate controls while his cheeks are by his ears...  :stupid

The real punishers were the Gemini missions, something along the lines of 7G's or so.

Those astronauts being real men thought it was pretty cool.

No but he likes to shoot his mouth off like he is now THE expert on space. Hell the altitude he reached was accomplished in the sixtys but to hear him tell it he could teach NASA a thing or two. He doesn't like to admit that it took him almost 50 million to win a 10 million prize. How it that for cost effective :beat Not to mention that the rocket engine he used was developed with NASA's help. Sorry I just think the man is a bag of wind at times.. I will however say that his tail feather idea was revolutionary. Credit where credit is due but spare me the Grand Master crap.Sorry, didn't mean to hi-jack the thread. Congrats to the Shuttle staff!!!! :good
