OUI accident on Lake Havasu

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Cal.- San Bernardino County Sheriffâ€™s deputies responded to a report of an injury boat collision near skierâ€™s cove on Lake Havasu Sunday evening. According to Sheriff Spokesperson Sgt. Phil Odom, deputies found a boat that had run aground.

â€œThey located a 25 ft Eliminator Daytona on the California shore line about 25 feet up the embankment,â€ stated Odom.
The passenger Shannon McPherson, of Lake Havasu, had Minor injuries and the driver, Robert Fisher Jr. of Yorba Linda California, was uninjured.

It was determined Fisher was intoxicated, and he was booked on felony operating under the influence charges.

I went right by their early in the evening and almost got "T" boned by 2 jet skis. I have nothing against jet skis except when they used my freeboard as a target.

So Cal Old Crew

No trees were killed in the sending of this message.

Shannon is a friend of Havasu Lvr on HB..........pretty dumb move but luckily no real injuries to them....hope this fellow has learned a lesson. :angry

Well it was a 25' Eliminator so you HAVE to go up on the embankment 25' to get the whole thing out of the water. That way you don't get your feet wet when you get out :beat
