I have this one XM Micro Antennaand works awesome. But cancelled my XM radio in the truck after it went from $9.99 to $12.99 not worth it to me.

That's almost identical to my external GPS antenna.  Mine is amplified though......not sure how big of a difference there is between the two.

XM had to raise the fee because very few people were willing to boot up the extra dough to listen to those dorks, Opie and Anthony :stupid as a premium channel.

I have Sirius and I think their programming is excellent and no extra fee. :good

my radio in the boat is Sirius ready, what do you need to add to hook it up? I know an antenna, but does the radio tune or do you need to add the external parts? :stupid

You need to buy the tuning module and an antenna for it. Depending on what kind you have, they're usually about 100 bucks.

Carbon Monoxide poisoning kills boaters.  Take the time to learn about it and how to avoid it.

:good I don't want to do it. we have an ipod that hooks directly to the radio and works very well. but parker radio sucks, and cds are getting to be a pain. so the answer may be Sirius. I've seen the unit. thanks :good

I have Sirius as well---great variety of stations.
I love Sirius 22, First Wave.....All the old KROQ jocky's are on that and its totally like going back to 1978-83 for me....
And at the river when tucked away in the tiniest of coves I still get great signal with my plug/play unit, antenna just tossed onto the dash where ever I fell like.
Bought the lifetime subscription so no monthly bill ever....gotta love it.
