Storms close California roads
NEEDLES, Calif. - Rain from the storms that hit the Tri-State area Tuesday has washed out parts of U.S. 95, between Needles and Vidal Junction. According to California Highway Patrol spokesperson Alex Diaz the road will be closed for at least two more days.
"The alternate routes would be to use the Arizona 95 that will take you through Lake Havasu City and down into Parker," said Diaz.
The same storm closed U.S. 95 between I-40 and Nevada Highway 163 Tuesday afternoon. Drivers are asked to be extra cautious during this stormy season.

Road conditions can be checked by calling 916-445-7625 or 800-427-7623.

Sucks if you live on just the other side of a washout like that. You know you want to go about a half mile down the road and you have to drive 60 miles to do it :banghead

Also, I'll be leaving a bit earlier so I don't think I'll see you on the road unless I break down or something. :rotflmao  In that case, the stickers on my truck may help me out. :good

I'll keep and Eyeout.... :rotflmao  :rotflmao I think we may be leaving a little early also. Need to go to DMV about 2:30 to Tag the Trailer. Mama should be packing the Motorhome as we speak. I'll get home and were gone. We'll see ya tomorrow. Drive safe :peace  :peace
