Well I have an additional way to connect to the board. :good

In the past, I've been able to check my PM's through my Sprint phone.  It's something like $15 a month for internet access, but it's very slow and VERY limited when the browser is concerned. :(

I just got a cable and software to connect my laptop to my phone to give me more flexibility.  I just checked my connection speed and it was 223.9 kbps! :good  That blows away my crappy AOL dial up connection at Havasu. :good

I just wonder if there will be an additional charge? :stupid  Does anyone else utilize this? :stupid

so your connection is your cell?  then use your laptops browser.   :good what does sprint say about extra charges? If it works it would be an option.  but cell service is still schetchy in parker.

I'm currently using my laptop's browser and I think I'm covered under the $15 extra I pay per month for Sprint Vision.

My cell phone does NOT work in Parker though, ever. :(  It works in Havasu though.  I've never found a spot yet where it didn't work there.

What model phone do you have?  When I was installing the software, I believe I saw Verizon phones listed as well. :good

The only thing is different phones use different data cables.  Mine was $29.95 including the software. :D

As an update, I tried to read the fine print for my plan and my fast access speed might be an additional charge. :eek  If it ends up being so, I can always connect at the regular phone modem speed with no additional charges.  I guess I won't really know until I get the bill. :eek
