I think you can contact the seller and see if they'll remove the bid.

I think there is a way to retract a bid, but I would also contact the seller.  I'll go look to see what I can find......

Yep what Carrera Elite recomended is the best way. If you retract bids to many times, Ebay gets abit pissy. But every now and then seems to be ok. Or if it gets to the point that you can't retract it, contact the seller explain to him/her what happened and you won't be paying for it and he can relist at the end of the auction, or cancel it and restart it.

AZKC do you ever get an offer via alerts or e mail regarding "isaw you were interested in..... contact me via e mail blah blah? Then i get an e mail from E bay itself saying do not do any tranactions out of the E bay system.

Ever do anything E bayish off an away from E bay?

Just wondering.

Not very often maybe 2-3 times in 3 years, when you go outside the system you lose all of your safe gaurds and protection. If somebody approaches me to sell or buy something and not use Ebay. I try and come to an agreed price then have the item listed with a buy it now price that we agreed on ;)
