Traffic is just crawling on the northbound I-15 in Devore. :angry  There is a SIG-ALERT MILES ahead in BOTH directions. :eek  Once I get through it, I gotta turn around and hit it again. :angry

Evidently there was a grass fire near the I-15 and 138.  The northbound 15 had at least 2 lanes shut down and the southbound side had looky loo and normal weekend traffic.  By the time I got to the fire area, the lanes had reopened, but it still took me over 3 hours to get from Corona del Mar to Victorville. :angry

I'm getting something to eat at Del Taco, but I will soon start all over again by getting on the southbound 15 at Bear Valley.  It's just crawling right now. :angry

Evidently it was more than just a fire.  Someone ran into either the fire engine or the fire fighters, sending 3 of them to the hospital.  Nice, huh?  :rolleyes

I checked the CHP site while I was stuck and they called it a traffic collision/brush fire as well.  At one point, ALL lanes in both directions were shut down. :eek  There were DOZENS of vehicles that couldn't handle the uphill bumper to bumper traffic in 100 degrees either.  It looked like a highway in the Gulf War.  Cars littered both shoulders and every turn out was full of vehicles with popped hoods. :eek

BTW, did you all know that "their" is the most often misspelled word in the English language?  I spelled it both right and wrong in my last post  :laugh

Interesting.  I don't recall transposing letters, but I am guilty of switching "their" and "there" when I am typing really fast.  I usually catch it before I post it though. :D
