Where they are standing on the end of the runway???

Makes me want to stand on the beach and get thrown into the water... :drink

But then again... Maybe not...

P.S. it wud suck to stay in the hotel in the background.. That would be noisy

Yes... they are real.

St. Maarten in the Caribean. The runway ends at the beach. There is a bar right the side of the approach path where you can sip frozen rum drinks and watch the heavy's come and go... :good

Call me a doubting Thomas but I still ain't totally buying it....that first one can't be much more than 30 feet off the beach.......... :eek

Why waste time laying on the sand for a tan, just get yourself in position for a good exhaust burn blast...don't forget to rotate :rolleyes

The runway I was most amused with of late is Cabo....starts at the edge of a cliff/ravine where you are touching down...then to have this huge jetliner do a U-ee on the tarmac and head back towards air traffic was a kick :laugh

due to the wind direction.... :plane

and not the normal flight path for landing? Â Or is the island just large enough to stretch the runway beach to beach?
