LOL!
Yah - I never saw it.
It seems that when I come to your forum, it is really slow on my side. I changed IP's and it is moving well now. I have 3 different dial up's and no high speed
Also, finally getting use to a format other than Hot Boat.
Your forum rocks as it appears only the really cool people post over hear! You know, the social people with a sense of humor!

Thanks I could have sworn that you had DSL though. Your post whoring tactics on hotboat were done through dial up?
The format is different than hotboat because it's a different board entirely. This board is VERY similar to Havasu Barney, Las Vegas Hot Boats, and BoatXchange.
Yeah, no drama over here. Just fun! (knock on wood )

Quote (Havasu Doug @ Dec. 23 2002,10:13 am) | I'm just kidding with you Frank. Â I have a question though. Â I noticed on hotboat.net that you lived in Orange at one time. Â Where abouts? Â I've lived here for all of my 37 years. Mostly near the Mall of Orange. Â I bought a home in the neighborhood I grew up in. Â I rented a duplex near Chapman University and rented a house near Walnut and the 55 freeway too. |
If it is not tooooooooooooooooooo late to answer your questions, I lived all over in OC.
Born in Fullerton Yorba Linda - 10 years San Clemente - 12 Years San Diego - 4 years (Grossmont) Irvine - 2 years Orange - Near corner of GG Blvd and The City Dr - 2 Years Placentia - 1 year Tustin - 1 month Orange - Old Town SW quadrant 2 Years (Pixley St)
I might not have been too far away from you in Orange at one point!

My work dial up is actually pretty fast - 128 kbs, but it seems to like certain sites and not others. Plus, they just recently told us to stop using it for personal.
I have DSLExtreme's dial up service for my personal use. It is fairly fast and cheap - $9/month.
I also have ACN dial up as it is part of a MLM gig I am doing. It is o.k. - I thought I should use it seeing that I sell it. Your site seems to like my DSLExtreme dial up the best - or vise versa!

I forgot to say that the only reason I don't have high speed is because my neighborhood is not wired for it yet. My only option is satelite, and they are starting to get more competitive.

Quote (kphayes @ Jan. 09 2003,6:09 am) | Frank-What years were you in SD? I grew up in east county and went to high school @ Granite Hills in El Cajon. |
Mira Mesa - 1987 El Cajon/Grossmont 1988 - 1991
I lived near the intersection of El Cajon and Fletcher Parkway. I walked to the Gold's Gym almost every morning. I also rode Cowles Mtn almost everyday on my mtn bike. I managed a bicycle store next to Jack Murphy Stadium (when it was called that) called Stadium Bicycles - just down the street from Family Fitness.
I was going to SDSU at the time as a physics and mech. engineer major. (88-90).
I also drove for UPS in 1987-88. My routes were down around 2nd St. to El Cajon Mall and vicinity. 92020 ROCKS!!!! LOL
Did we have any near misses in those time frames?
