Please use extreme caution when driving home tonight...its dark early now(sans you AZ peeps :angry ) and all our little ones will be wandering around with reckless abandon on the streets.
I know all these kinda reminders/warnings stuff has been beat to death but its important enough to mention again.

Two girls injured in Halloween car accident

11:29 AM Mountain Standard Time on Tuesday, November 1, 2005

Staff and wire reports
The condition of a 6-year-old who was taken to St. Joseph's hospital after she was hit by a car while trick-or-treating is improving today. Her condition has been upgraded to serious.
Her 15-year-old sister is still reported to be in extremely critical condition.
The two were reportedly hit while trying to cross 43rd Avenue near Bell Road Monday night.
"We heard a loud screeching of the tires and a very quick screech and then we heard the two impacts," said Cole Lightfoot who helped the girls after the crash.
Lightfoot was out trick-or-treating with his kids at the time of the crash.
Sgt. Andy Hill said the two girls, Jaqueline Snyder and her younger sister, Julianne, were both wearing dark clothing at the time and crossing in the middle of the street.
The 23-year-old driver doesn't appear to be at fault, police say.
The motorist has not been cited, although the investigation is ongoing.
