Way to much money :angry To me hot rodding is modifying a car/truck of your choice to your individual taste in your garage and driving it, not assembling a brand new car and then spending 99% of the time polishing it!.. :rolleyes

avoiding the obvious v-drive jokes...  :bebe :D I agree that is way to much money for a warmed over Camaro, and a car that is essentially a show piece.

Hell, for 700,000 you could buy a new 911GT, a new Z06 and still have money left over for gas.

But, on the other hand, guys like Coddington and Foose have been making a pile of money selling 250K duece coups and high-boy roadsters and the like for several years now.  I've come to the conclusion several years ago that a few people have more money than they know what to do with.  :D

I've had the similar discussion with people about my '68 P/U. If I'm going to spend the time and money to build it, I'm going to drive it.

I never collected baseball cards or starwars action figures or hot wheels. the minute I got them they where out of the package getting tore up. and thats the way I am as an adult. run it till it breaks then take it home and rebuild it better.

But if you watch the speed channel you see a ton of guys dying to throw money at "trailer queens" so more power to a guy that can make a buck.

but thats just me :D
