The first time I logged onto this site over a year ago I saw this picture on the front page and knew this was a cool place!   :drink

But I wana know what the story is behind it, and maybe SEE A LARGER VERSION???

I think that Riverratmike  posted that. As I remember, it was somebody going down the river, and something happened to the boat causing it to sink.

I remember a thread somewhere that there was a series of pic's of them getting the boat out and there was a rather large hole in the bottom of the hull.  :eek

yeah I remember that day at the river house when that guy was going to try and beach his sinking boat up on my lawn. Well he didn't get over the retaining wall and it nailed that and sunk right in front of me. The boat some how already had a huge hole in the bottom of the hull. That boat was pretty much thrashed after that sinking! Here are the photos I took that day Oct 2004 Sunk Boat In Parker Oct 2004

the guy on the passenger side was in the boat when it sank. The guy in the drivers seat was not, it was one of his friends. The driver is not in that photo.

yup the two guys in the boat were young. Skinhead type guys. Then they had two other friends that were boating when their boat sank. One of those friends of the skinheads is sitting in the drivers seat with a beer.
