Well I was wandering around the hood yesterday and decided it was time for a beer. So I head over to Famous Sams down the street from the casa. Waitress greets me ask how I've been (drinking and eating at this one for almost 20 years) and that it was nice that I came down since it was their last day to be open :eek  :cry  :(  Seems they had a Liquor License that was attached to food sales and they couldnt sell enough food and lost their license :( It was a great bar to play pool and knock back a few.  Always put Nascar on the big screen. Lots of Diamondback fans hung out there. Kind of like my Cheers. Hooters, the Hound and bars like that are fine but neighbourhood bars rule.

I'm going to miss it :beer

Thats what sucks is a while back we had 5 good bars around the hood now we are down to one genuine bar and 4 of the franchise bars :(
