Last night on the news they told about two sick infants that were both in dire need of organ transplants in order to survive.
One had bad heart the other a bad lung.
A donor came available for both needs but the amazing part was how the doc's went about it...forget what they called it, something like obdominal transplant surgery :stupid .
From the donor baby they put the lung AND heart into the baby with the bad lung, then took that babies good heart and put it into the baby that needed just the heart.

Both said to be doing great!! :good

It's amazing to think they can handle those tiny organs like that.
