Third Time's the Charm for Film Crews LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. - A crew is currently in Lake Havasu City shooting scenes for a new movie. Titled “Razorâ€, the movie is a horror film focusing on an animal’s ability to sense the good and evil in men. “RAZOR is a comedy/horror about a young couple who find themselves the targets of a mysterious figure and his man-eating dog,†said James Lay, the film’s director. The crew has already been in town shooting for a few days taking advantage of the area’s beautiful scenery. “We are very excited about shooting RAZOR in Lake Havasu. The unique look and feel of the area is unmatched and will provide a rich backdrop for our film,†said Lay. In addition to the city’s scenery, Lay is also interested in using its residents. “We hope and encourage the local people of Lake Havasu to become involved in this project either as extras or production assistants,†he said. Extras or production assistants will have the chance to see the movie being made behind the scenes and their names will appear in the film’s credits. Anyone interested can contact Peter at 973-769-3661. This is actually one of three film crews that have been in Lake Havasu City this week. Earlier a crew from HGTV was filming an episode of Offbeat America and Thursday a crew from The Weather Channel Road Crew was doing some filming for a few stories about boating on Havasu. Filming is expected to continue through the next week.

| Quote (GlassMan @ Mar. 10 2006,7:57 am) | I read that they are gonna do a movie about the Loch Ness monster and use Havasu as the Loch......too cheap to fly to Scotland I guess.
I would have thought they'd use Elsinore....but they probably didn't want interference from the monsters that live there already! Â |
I heard they have a new theory that the Loch Ness monster might have been or is a elephant

That lives underwater?
Hippo maybe.
So if they use Havasu as the Loch, what will they do about the beautiful scenery around Loch Ness? CG it in?
