Quote (ParkerRiverRat @ June 28 2003,9:29 pm) | I've had my 68 el camino for 17 years! Bought it in 1987 right then I graduated high school. It's the only car I have every owned. I can't go anywhere in it without someone asking me about it and telling me how beautiful it is. I plan on very selling it. So what kinda work do you do for the plumbing? |
Check it out, I can give you a better price than Summit!.

Quote (ParkerRiverRat @ June 29 2003,1:53 am) | Ok I'll keep my comments to myself. You win! But it's just a personal opinion I guess. We'll the 350hp I have in the elco right now does 12.8 in the quarter. Just want to go a little bit faster by having 150 more hp. Really don't have a issue with burning the rear tires really bad right now. Thank god I have that eaton posi in the rear! I've got all the new parts ready to go. Just haven't had much time to put it all together. Got a great deal on everything! Hope to get into the mid 11's with this motor! Â |
All you need is a kit for the rear end and you put that sucka in the 10's

You know what's funny, my brother had a Honda Civic that ran a 12 flat in the 1/4 mile. And no, he didn't spend 5k for 50hp, especially when you can spend $500 for a 150hp. I even took he car to Pomona, cutting a .502 RT and out ran another kid in a mustang. It was a High School drag racing event, and they only let you run 1/8 mile then. But we did run Terminal Island in Long Beach Friday Nights! Oh that was fun!
If you have never lost to an import, then you haven't raced anyone fast. Trust me, I like the muscle cars too, but those ricers are fast.

Quote (Sleek-Jet @ April 18 2003,2:16 am) | I put Eibach springs on the Cutlass. Â No more land yacht, just a nice firm, smooth ride. Â Lowered the car about 1.5" in front, and about an 1" in back.
I feel bad though, my paint isn't very shiny. Â
