Brown's brother, Loren Crown of Covington, Tenn., said his brother didn't want any information released about his condition. "It doesn't feel good to get bit by a bobcat," said Loren Crown, who would not comment further.
The dead bobcat tested positive for rabies later Tuesday.
Crown will receive a series of five rabies shots over the coming month to make sure he doesn't get the disease, said Patti Woodcock, a Pima County Health Department spokeswoman.
