Geezus AZKC! Where do you buy gas? I have a '04 'burb with a 31 gallon tank. Doin' the math, and with my tank "bone-dry", that comes out to $3.58 a gallon! If this is a sign of the future, and I'm absolutely, 100% positive it is; maybe it's time we put sails on our cars and boats (wash my mouth out with bilge cleaner) and tell the oil companies to   :kiss  our collective butts! I mean, I know that a 'burb is by no means easy on gas; but it's my money and if I want to spend it on gas ,leave me alone with all the "gas guzzler" BS; but geezus, when is enough enough? :angry
BTW; made a "banzai run" to Vegas last week for the Son's wedding and averaged just under 21 mpg on the 'burb! Not bad considerin' that's better than what I used to get with our '99 Astro van (same run averaged just over 18 mpg). FYI; I used cruise control set at 70 mph in both situations. Says somethin' about the "efficient", gas-savin' V6 compared to the "gas-guzzlin'", pig SUV V8. Drivin' responsibly and smartly, a V8 can be as easy on the gas as a V6! Maybe better! :stupid

Zig, the floatin' has already begun..... ;)

But unfortunately I can't float the boat on the 40 these days. I just can't understand the price difference over the bridge in AZ vs. CA.

Reg. was $3.30 gal in CA and $2.75 in AZ (although it did jump .04 between Wed. & Thurs.)

I feel violated! :(  :confused  :cry  :stupid  :banghead

Gas Prices SUCK!

Combine that with an 93 Dually and I'm  :cry  at the pump.
I get 9 Miles per Gallon in that beast.

If my math is correct, I could sell it and almost make payments on something newer in just the amount I save at the pump.   :stupid

The only positive I see right now is that Diesel Fuel is finally not the most expensive at the pump, Super Unleaded has finally out paced it.

Loaded a $100 into the boat last Saturday, put it back on the trailer nearly empty  :cry , gonna have to wait and see when the next trip is...

Well I made it back with enough fuel for the week I think :rolleyes And Gig ;)  Tuchop is correct I have a 42 gallon gas tank in my Suburban. I think the gas was $2.85. The trip was about 320 miles and I think I used about 25 gallons that puts me around 12 mpg at 75 mph with a Auto, 454 and 4.10's. That seems a bit to good but I need to fill it up to be more accurate but I'm saving the $50 for beer :beer

Never doubted ya AZKC! $3.58 does not seem so very far out of line today as it might have yesterday. My point was that I can't figure out why RAPE committed by an individual is a felony but RAPE by the oil companies is ignored! :angry ....and how so m any people can actually justify the record profits posted by Exxon and others. The price of a barrel of oil goes up, we pay more at the pumps because of it, and the oil companies reap the benefit. Does anyone else see what's wrong with this picture? :stupid
