Having the damnest of a time finding a place to rent an RV near Parker or Havasu. Anyone ever have to do this? If I rented localy (here in LA), I couldn't tow my boat because it outweighs the tow caps on the the class C's.
BTW, within a 2 hour driving distance from PArker would be close enough.
Thanks in advance folks.
Louie.

| Quote (stingray @ April 19 2006,6:20 pm) | | I don't know a place in that area, but I know guys that have towed over the limit without trouble, I think they allow 3K, how much more than that are you towing??? |
I've talked to some of the people at the rental places and it appears that a 28-31 footer can tow up to 5K LBS. Most places I talk to only allow up tp something like 2500 LBS. Get this.........then it's a fee on top of the rental fee.
To answer your question, my boat on the trailer weighs 56-5800 lbs.

Most RV rental joints I've contacted don't have / don't allow towing boats/cars/etc. If you find one, it's an extra cost.
