I'm renewing my Boat Insurance with an different carrier, I had a deductible of $500 with the old company, the new company quoted me both $500 and  $1,000 deductibles, the larger deductible is about $70 a year cheaper, should I even consider going to a larger deductible or stay with the smaller one??? Thanks for you opinions...

I tried that but focking AAA wont cover it if someone other then myself drives it, I generally don't let other people drive my boats but if there was an accident or something happened to me I would be really screwed...

I have a $1000 deductible.  I have been covered for 4 years and never had a claim yet (knock on wood).  Thats money I saved throughout the 4 years.  Besides my premium is $790 a year.

I'm thinking I'm gonna do the $1,000 deductible, never had a claim (knock on wood) so hopefully all will be good, hell if I don't like it I can change it right???
