Former MLB Player Dies
LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ - Former major league pitcher, 42-year-old Russ Swan, died Monday at University Medical Center in Las Vegas. Swan was visiting Lake Havasu City on April 17th when he apparently fell down a flight of stairs and was knocked unconscious.
Swan began his career with the San Francisco Giants in 1986 and was released by the Cleveland Indians in 1994. Since that time, Swan was a pitching coach for Washington State University as well as the Colorado Rockies.
