I've always thought it was cool how the opening page welcomed me appropriately for the time of day - you know, Good Morning....when it's morning and Good Afternoon...when it's afternoon.
Today at 12:54 I logged on and saw:
Good morning and welcome to Havasu Doug's River Page. Check out the cool links listed below. They provide some great information on the Colorado River. It is done with Java Script. Basically it calls military times greater than 1700 "evening", greater than 1200 "afternoon", and everything else as "morning". For some reason, the server time changed by an hour and I noticed it last night. This server is located in Texas and is in the Central time zone. The board automatically subtracts 2 hours since the majority of us are on that time. So last night, I had to adjust the board time by 1 hour sometime after 11 P.M. Early this morning, when I went to work, the server time was still off by one hour. When the server time corrected sometime today, it automatically made the board time incorrect again. I just corrected it, so everything should be good now.
