I need a new boat cover.  I thought I could get by one more season but when I tried to clean the old one, I tore it.  The current one is the Cloudburst canvas and it lasted pretty well.  I'm using Overton's prices because its easy, but I'll probably get it through one of the discount cover companies.  All the covers I've had have been the canvas type and they don't do too bad but they don't hold up well in the sun and my boat sits out all the time.  You guys have any experience with the others?  I'll let the board help me decide which one.

DO your self a favor and go sunbrella!!!  Mine is 7 years old and is now starting to wear a couple holes from the bimini poles. most other materials in this weather will be crap in just a couple years.

Does your boat sit out unshaded?  My last boat was in the garage and the cheap cover lasted for ten years, no way to judge.  This boat sits out unshaded.  If I can get 5+ years out of a Sunbrella cover, its worth it.

Freddog, I have a new Sunbrella cover being made for mine. I store the boat indoors but I figure it's worth the money for the longevity. They look better too. :D

I had to take the boat to AZ Discount Marine the other day and among other things I ordered we took measurements for the new cover. They will use sunbrella material and it will actually fit my boat and trailer :D . There are no exact fit covers available for my boat so I figured this was my best bet.

My cover is custom as well due to the front bimini.  I guessing that AZ dicount Marine is down in Tucson??
