Angie has a test and I have a pre Baja 500 chase team meeting.
Looks like Mamori  ol day weekend is freeed up but I'm a scared to go any where near water on that weekend.  |

My meeting is in Murrieta in the AM and I need to work on the chase truck in the afternoon so I might be free for a few drinks. Hell You wanna swing by? I'll be good and lubed up. Maybe I can swing a ride in the buggy around the track if ya like.  Â Â Â |
Might just do that, Irma and I are going to Sean and Lindsays in the morning but they have to be somewhere at 4pm, we should be wrapped up with installing tha gauges in my truck by 3pm or so, would love to check out the buggy. How far are you from there place in Temecule???

Uhm yeah! I built two different bikes to race, the first was pretty stock and cost me about 10k to make it race ready with spares. The second was a built KTM 550MXC and I think I had about 25K in that one. Then I moved on to cars and built a Class 11 stone stock bug with some buddies. 25k disappeared pretty quick...FOR A STOCK BUG! Then it was on to 7S, stock mini truck, about 75k, competative only because its a small class. I know the Trophy Trucks are hittin close to a million or more with spares.
All the money I dropped on that sport over the years was worth every penny for the thrills, fun, friendships, and stories to last a lifetime. Someday I'll go back and finish the 1000...in or on what I don't know.
And by the way, I pitted and chased for several other people and it was just about as much fun as driving.
