Nice weather at the river... But I felt like the USS Minnow getting tossed with 2-3' white caps in the middle of the gorge :(

I had a great weekend.  Saturday we went to Valley Center Western Days parade and fair.  The kids were in the parade and had a blast playing and running around from ride to ride at the fair.

Sunday was awesome, Tony aka Hitman and Todd 87 Cole had a block party.  Tons of good food  :good , great people  :beer  and beer pong  :drink

Monday was for recovering.

Shot a 78 Saturday morning :) .....party for nephew early afternoon, then worked on BBQ til dark.
Slept in a bit(8am) Sunday, was tempted to go up to 87Coles block party(since its about a mile away) but instead stayed true and kept working on BBQ much of the day(mixed in w/HomeDepot runs).
Shot a 88 Monday Morning :( .....BBQ work again.

Almost there with the bbq........Got a little bit of wiring to do and some final detail work before the countertops get layed.

Went simi local for 5 days and 4 nights at Lake Isabella and had a blast. The water level was high and the wind kept the lake from getting too jammed up with wake board boats. If you didn't mind catching a bit of air, it offered tons of fun, which I gladly accepted. :D  :D

Went to Lake Pleasant on Saturday. It was a bit windy, but we still had a good day out on the water. When we left, the lake was covered with chop that was about 2' and whithe capped. Sunday we went to some friends house and watched the nascar Race. I mostly just lounged around yesterday....

Mixed reaction here. Spent all day Friday working in the garage de-winterizing the boat and getting her ready for the lake on Saturday. :good

Wind started blowing hard Friday night through Sunday morning so we stayed home.

Weather was great Sunday, but we had other plans, so no lake. :rolleyes

Boat all loaded and hitched up yesterday, but then I got sick so no lake again. :cry

Wife works today, so no lake again. :angry

Our warehouse was closed yesterday, so I didn't have any load to Idaho and I had big plans for a 5 day weekend, but that all went to shit in a hand basket. :(

Worked on the boat, cleaned out a bunch of crap, worked on the wifes car, cleaned the spa filter, cleaned the pond filter, went to Hooters for lunch. Pretty much just chilled :beer Got addicted to PartyPoker ;)

I earned some extra $$$ yesterday and still went to the beach (on my lunch :rotflmao )  The weather was beautiful. :good Since I started work at 6 AM, I didn't have any trouble parking. :good

Pretty much laid low for a few days.  BBQ'd Sunday & Monday.  Re-bolted the dash in the boat...all the fittings had vibrated loose.... :eek

Windy ass hell at Roosevelt and Apache, had a good time though. The nights were perfect in the low 70's. Sitting at the damn at Roosevelt Sunday I saw the Life Flight Heli land by the bridge and then take off toward Phx.  :(

I like the looks of the Aha Quin area.  Drove through there a few times, but never took the boat.  From what I've read, your pretty much by yourself from there, up or down river.

We might take a long week-end, stay in town, and tow up for a day, then down to McIntyre for the next.  Rex Rathburn used to post about Aha Quin, before he sold his boat.
