I first saw a Chevy Impala converted to burn hydrogen (Conversion cost $85) back in the early eighties.

The major problem was carrying the dangerous fuel safely.

Seems this guy may have figured things out:

I'm not a big believer in the "conspiracy theories" about the oil companies, but it will be interesting to see if this goes anywhere or just disappears.

I think it has a lot of potential but the conversion rate is too slow for what they are claiming.  Notice he has his car configured as a hybrid...  Why is that if its as efficient as he claims?

As soon as they can speed up the conversion process, look out oil companies.

I know BMW has Hydrogen powered cars ready for market....once some Hydrogen fueling infastruture is in place. I hear there are a few stations in Germany now already.

If this guy can make this water idea run its a hell of alot smarter than growing giant fields of corn for Bio-fuels.

The new Dodge Charger was initially going to be offered as a hydrogen burner, but I think Chrysler backed off because there aren't enough refueling facilities.

Water, H2o, is finite on the earth...no more, no less.  I wonder if his process, extracting the H, will be restored in the atmosphere back to H2o.

Maybe I should re-view the link with the SOUND ON.... :D

At the end it shows it producing a water byproduct.  Would the roads be constantly wet if we all drove those?
