Just thought I'd check in with you guys. Still waiting for my computer to get fixed and until it does, I've got to scavage time on Jeff's computer at the shop.
Still looking for a job. I've had a couple of interviews, but it's difficult without my credential in my hand (it's still held hostage in the Sacramento beaurocracy).
. . . and Mohave was beautiful on Saturday and the Hallett held together, after Jeff fixed the leaks

We were down at the Sandbar last Sat. and my wife was drooling over a brand new 24 footer. She really hit it off with one of the girls on the boat...a bathing suit designer or something like that...so it was yap, yap, yap all afternoon

Well, I guess "holding together" was not a good term to use. It ran well. Just had to replace a gasket to something or other (Jeff's territory, not mine). Anyway, it was good times.

Oh, yes, I will have a new computer  I really miss the laptop the school loaned me. I can't wait to get another one, but can't justify one until I get a job that requires it.

Not exactly sure yet. We just got back and opted out of going for the holiday. Hopefully soon though.
Oh, and I got a job offer. I'll think about it over the weekend and let them know on Monday. It's 7th grade world history. I didn't really want to do middle school, but it's the district that I want and they are opening a new high school next year, so I'm thinking I should take it to get my foot in the door in the district.
Oh, and I forgot to tell you guys, I passed that state test that qualifies me to be an English teacher.  What can I say, I rock

Nope. A Harley. I don't know the models real well. I think it's a springer softail?? He deserves it after putting up with all the sacrifices over the last 6 years. He's a swell guy.

Back on!!
I got the desktop back! (less programs, photos, and documents  ) but at least I'm back online. I thought I was going to go crazy! I kept thinking of things I could just look up on the internet and then have to remind myself, "nope, can't do that", like hotel reservations or maps for example. Anyway, I'm a happy camper now.
