It's a jerasulem cricket...
I used to get them in my backyard at my old house! Sometimes they would sneak inside... AAAAHHHHH!!!

Nope I just know they were reallllllly nasty! Some of them are like 3 or 4 inches long. Yeah I've heard them called potato bugs too!
I was such a chicken, when I would find one in the house I would put a cup over it so it wouldn't get away, then I'd wait until my roommate got home so he could kill it!!! What a wimp!

I got bit by a Blackwidow on my foot, and I couldnt walk for a week...  Swolle up to the bursting point almost and turned purple :(

I vividly remember digging in the sandbox at our house when I was about 4 years old and I uncovered one of those things... eeessshhh....  :eek  :eek  :eek My mother thought I had cut my hand off, I let out such a scream.
