AWESOME WEEKEND! Last night a big monsoon blew threw Havasu just as we got off the water.  No rain just a bunch of wind. Man was it blowing!!! Power went down for about 1.5 hours, I was just starting to worry that it was going to be a realllllly hot night in the house then poof power comes back on! Thank goodness!

We were at Havasu Springs one weekend. Arrived Friday afternoon, had a storm roll through late in the evening that took out the transformer up the hill. Power was off for the rest of the weekend..... :eek

:eek  OMG! Were you renting a place there? If so did they refund your $ for the trouble?!?  That sucks! I would have left and gone to stay somewhere else.

Yeah if you beach the boat it's $10. I thought at first they were going to write us a ticket. The BLM guy walks up to the boat and yells "WHO'S BOAT IS THIS" then he started writing something down on his little clipboard, I thought ticket for sure.  Then he just asks for $10 and gave us a receipt. The boat next to us said they go to steamboat all the time so they bought a pass for $50.

Actually to be perfectly honest with you I was so hungover yesterday that I didn't hardly drink. I was even the DD and drove us to dinner last night! That NEVER happens.  
So I feel pretty good today, aside from only getting four hours of sleep.   :sleep
