Thanks Kevin, I hope that she does well, the first year she did it she collected nearly $500 more then the minimum, pretty awesome, I was at every cheering station and I have to admit it was pretty emotional, all the walkers were in a lot of pain but they kept on going...

The Race at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena is one of the biggest nationally; takes place in late February ..... great cause, great fun, great day, lots of free goodies to eat & drink.....

Since the shirt will be custom made for you, just let me know exactly what you want like style, brand, size, etc. I've got just about every chain store near me, so I can pick up anything you want.

We, also, need to think about the verbage we will use on the shirt. If you want additional corporate sponsorship, I can put their logos on the shirt as well as long as it can be in the same color. :good

If the walk is in November, it looks like we can put quality time in designing this, but the quicker we get graphics going, the more time we have to spread enthusiasm on this board. :good

I think we can really have some fun with this while doing something for a good cause. :jumpie

I just confirmed support for the San Diego Race with Ralphs this week; they are a "presenting sponsor". We will have a Yoplait Yogurt single cup promotion starting 11/1, with in-store signage in the SD stores promoting the race.

Our Komen Foundation donation will be beteen $7,500 & $10,000..... :love

Doug thank you for your support and patience I know I'm taking a while to get back to you I've just never had so many options and it turns out I'm not as clever as I thought I was!!! :banghead

As for the specifics in the shirt I think either white with pink letters or pink with white would be appropriate for this event.
I prefer a tank top, maybe Hanes brand tagless if possible I don't even know if there is one available but that would be nice if you can find one. As far as size 1x or xl should be comfortable.

I do not have any other corporate sponsors so anything about walking for a cure or something like that.
It's a blast so let's be creative!!
